He has been engaged in computer engineering, information system research and development in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong for 15 years. He has served as an engineer, Department Manager and technical director, and presided over the research and development of many large and medium-sized projects and products.

He joined Wenzhou University (Wenzhou Normal University) at 2003, published more than 20 papers in core journals such as "Expert Systems with Applications" and "IEEE access"at home and abroad, and authorized 12 invention patents and software copyrights. In the past five years, he has presided over seven teaching and scientific research projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels, and the total funds for the projects exceed ten million.

At present, he is working in the field of big-data technology research, application and teaching, as the head of data science and big-data technology and the head of commercial enterprise cloud supply chain public service platform; He used to be the executive director of the computer experiment teaching center of  Wenzhou University, the head of the Institute of business intelligence.

黄长城  温州大学教授/教授级高工/研究生导师/温州市计算机学会副理事长。曾于深圳、上海、香港从事计算机工程、信息系统研发等工作15年，担任过工程师、部门经理和技术总监等职，主持多项大中型项目和产品的研发。

2003年初入职温州大学(温州师范学院)，在“Expert Systems with Applications”、“IEEE Access”等核心期刊发表论文20余篇，授权发明专利和软件著作权12项。近5年来，主持国家和省部级等教学和科研项目7项，负责项目的总体经费超过千万。

目前从大数据领域研究应用及教学等工作，担任数据科学与大数据专业负责人、商业企业云供应链公共服务平台主任；曾任温州大学计算机实验教学中心执行主任、商务智能研究所负责人等
